The UBS Visa Infinite Credit Card is worth it for individuals who want high-quality concierge services and luxury travel perks. If you are interested in earning the most points, miles or cash back rewards, we’d recommend choosing one of this card’s competitors like the Chase Sapphire Reserve.
While other cards may offer higher rewards rates and sign-up bonuses, the benefits the UBS Visa Infinite Credit Card offers unparalleled perks like airport lounge access, 24/7 concierge services and a variety of insurance and purchase protections.

The card awards 3X points for commercial air travel, 2X points for gas and groceries, and 1X point for all other eligible purchases.
With the UBS Visa Infinite Credit Card, you’ll earn 3X points for commercial air travel, 2X points for gas and groceries, and 1X point for all other eligible purchases.
To redeem your points, you can use the UBS portal to book award travel. Booking award travel costs 25,000 points for a ticket up to $350 (1.4 cents per point) or 50,000 points for a ticket up to $900 (1.8 cents per point). Obviously the value of points redeemed for air travel depends on the cost of your ticket, with tickets that have a cost on the higher end of the spectrum being worth more.
Your points can also be used to pay for your annual fee of $495. This cost can be covered by 35,000 points, which makes points worth 1.4 cents each.
As a UBS Visa Infinite Credit Card cardholder you have access to 1,300+ lounges with Priority Pass™ Select membership. You’re also able to share lounge access with an unlimited number of guests.
When you spend at least $25,000 each year on your UBS Visa Infinite Credit Card, you are granted a $500 credit to use toward any airport club program (such as Delta Sky Club) or day passes. You must put this expense on your card, but it’s a great benefit if you travel frequently. Note that this credit can also be used to pay for eligible Amazon Prime membership fees and/or restaurant purchases.
A major selling point for the UBS Visa Infinite Credit Card is its in-house UBS concierge and customer service. It’s a substantial step up from the concierge services provided by Visa Signature and Visa Infinite-branded products. With your UBS Visa Infinite Credit Card you’ll get 24/7 access to UBS customer service and a concierge service that allows you to:
Note that cardholders are responsible for the cost of any goods or services purchased through the UBS Concierge.
The UBS Visa Infinite Credit Card provides excellent travel credits and perks, plus it doesn’t charge any foreign transaction fees. This is a huge money-saver if your travels frequently take you outside of the U.S.
With the UBS Visa Infinite Credit Card, you’ll enjoy the following travel benefits:
Aside from its travel perks, the UBS Visa Infinite Credit Cardoffers a suite of travel and purchase protections:
No sign-up bonus: A large drawback to the UBS Visa Infinite Credit Card is that it doesn’t offer a sign-up bonus, unlike other cards of similar caliber. Other premium cards like the Chase Sapphire Reserve® offer hefty welcome bonuses that put a large amount of miles, points or cash back into your account once you meet the sign-up bonus requirements.
High annual fee: Another drawback to UBS Visa Infinite Credit Card is that you’ll pay an annual fee of $495 for the privilege of being a cardholder. Note, this card’s annual fee is lower than both of its premium competitors, the Chase Sapphire Reserve® and The Platinum Card® from American Express. Not to mention, the credits and benefits easily surpass the cost of the annual fee.
However, if you don’t think you can make use of luxury benefits, you should check out a more modestly priced travel credit card.
Here’s how the card matches up against two of the top premium credit cards on the market.

You have a number of options when it comes to redeeming your American Express Membership Rewards points, including statement credits and transferring them to a variety of travel partners. As a cardholder, you also qualify for elite status with Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite Status (enrollment required) and Hilton Honors Gold status (enrollment required).
Current UBS customers who are in the market for a new luxury travel card will find a lot to like with the UBS Visa Infinite Credit Card. However, if you’re not a UBS client, you’ll have to open an account at the bank and establish a banking relationship, which may be too big a hurdle for most potential applicants.
However if you’re hunting for the biggest discounts and most travel points, consider the Chase Sapphire Reserve. It offers premium perks, a generous sign-up bonus and doesn’t require an existing relationship with the bank in order to apply.
