Our take: The Capital One Quicksilver Cash Rewards Credit Card is a solid beginner card if you have good / excellent credit and want a simple approach to earning rewards on every purchase. But if you want to earn a higher cash back rate, there are other $0-annual-fee cards to consider.

Plus, there’s a generous, easy-to-earn sign-up bonus, as well as an intro APR on purchases and balance transfers.*
